When September Comes
When September Comes
Walking down to the station to catch my train to work this morning the cool breeze and the puddles from overnight rain suggests that the last of this summer’s heat waves is on the wane and autumn is fast approaching.
The blog has been very quiet of late due to us having had a full on fun packed summer holiday which has left little time for modelling.
The therapeutic joy of sunshine, Cardigan Bay and locally produced beer.
Having fun with friends.
Volunteering on the Talyllyn, a quiet day as Quarry Siding Blockman.
A week in Paris, including a trip up the Eiffel Tower.
Boulangerie Breakfasts are the best.
Disneyland, freelance modelling on a grand scale.
To London for the excellent Postal Museum (highly recommended if you have kids) and Mail Rail was fun for us older children.
My first visit to the Royal Albert Hall for the CBeebies Prom.
Some pedigree motive power at Foxfield.
We’ve made the most of the summer holidays. School is back before the end of the week and we have a decent period now of staying at home where I’m itching to get on with some layout building. I’ve finally finalised a plan and have some materials arrived to put it into action. More soon.
