Monday Motivation

Unsurprisingly, Saturday’s Modelling Day has reinvigorated my modelling mojo which I have taken advantage of. Being my long weekend off, I’ve been off work today and took advantage of ‘Elsbridge’ still languishing in the study to have a tidy up and de-cluttering in the attic before taking ‘Elsbridge’ back up to the attic and placing it in to a different place in the attic than before and moving the ‘Abermelyn’ boards (remember them?) to a better place. The seven trips up two flights of steps reminding me why my layouts will mostly be operated at home!

As part of this tidy up, the buildings and trees for ‘Wheal Ponder’ needed a home finding and what better place than back on the layout they’re intended for. In order for this to happen I needed to finish off the current electrical work. So out came the soldering iron, the necessary dropper wires were soldered on and connected to the existing wiring underneath. ‘Falcon’ then ensured that all was well and running as it should. The track is still a bit lumpy in places, but at least the wagons stay on the track even when being propelled and so scenic work can recommence.
