A Petite Property
Perhaps unsurprisingly, after the focused effort to get Wheal Ponder to Mickleover, there was a modelling lull in the days that follows. A fortnight on, the model making mojo has returned and I’ve been working on the Petite Properties house that will help hide the entrance to the fiddle yard. Assembled (almost as the instructions suggest) with embossed styrene added to finish off. I’ve replaced the chimney pots with ones from ModelU and will be fitting their guttering and down pipes in due course.
The Petite Properties building kits are well within my modelling comfort zone and I found this one a joy to build. They’re a great canvass to which to add your choice of finish to personalise them and I particularly like the detail around the windows on this one. This is my second Petite Properties building kit and it won’t be my last.
The main buildings have all now had their basic construction completed. It’s now on to detailing and painting them.
