Waiting Room

 

With now 56 days to go until Mickleover, there’s no time to rest…. The track has had an initial coat of paint (sleeper grime) sprayed on as a base coat. Whilst that dries properly as naturally, I’m trying to dry paint in an attic now the weather has turned cold, I’ve been busy at my modelling desk in our cosy study making a start on buildings. 

Now realise that I can get a passenger platform in without it looking daft which will allow the two Corris carriages to be used for those who want to come and ponder a while. 

Intentio produce kits for a variety of bothies, coal and weighing offices which to my eye, look similar to the brick waiting rooms on the Glyn Valley Tramway. Two evenings has resulted in this kit now awaiting a second building to catch it up to be painted alongside.
